53 years ago today, the Supreme Court ruled that the Constitution
guaranteed women the right to choose.
That decision stood until an extreme far-right Supreme Court overturned
that decision and allowed abortion to be criminalized in many states
around the country.
We won this fight in 1973, and that should have been the end of it. Since
then, nations around the world have recognized choice as a human right.
But America is moving backwards, and women are paying for it with their
lives.
During my 2024 campaign, I visited a senior center in Montgomery County.
The folks there remembered the realities of life before Roe. They were in
disbelief that we're forced to fight a battle already won.
America's daughters deserve freedom and a government that values their
lives, Folks.
There’s a long battle ahead of us, but I'll fight both on and off Capitol
Hill until victory is at hand. I ask you to continue standing beside me in
this struggle for a woman's right to choose.

health and well-being all across Maryland, I'd greatly appreciate your
support.
