Hi John, it’s April.

A new year means a new phase of this campaign.

This month, we are officially kicking off my reelection effort. And I want to be honest with you about what that means. We are heading into a competitive and expensive Democratic primary against Billionaire David Trone. Preparing for a race like this takes resources, organization, and early momentum.

January may feel quiet on the surface, but it is one of the most important months for building the foundation we will need in the months ahead.

I am proud of the work I am doing in Congress and grateful for the support we are seeing across the district. Still, early support matters. The people who step up now are the ones who help make everything else possible.
