LA County Nature Centers Lunar New Year Events!

From January 24 – February 21, celebrate with a fun-filled series of events featuring storytime, hands-on arts and crafts, tea talks exploring the origins of tea, family-friendly hikes, historical presentations, guided nature walks, live entertainment, and interactive exhibits.

Clean Beach Poster Contest Closing Soon

The Department of Beaches and Harbors is looking for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who want to share their message with millions of beachgoers this summer. Enter the Can the Trash! Clean Beach Poster Contest and your artwork could be featured on LA County beach trash barrels across our beaches! The Summer 2026 Contest deadline is January 31, 2026.
