The beginning of this year has shown how we deserve serious leadership. While the affordability crisis impacts working families nationwide, Trump is making threats toward Greenland and threatening more tariffs.

Americans deserve better. Full stop. It’s what makes our upcoming election so important: On the campaign trail, we’re less than two months away from Illinois’ primary Election Day. With only a few seats separating House control, keeping IL-13 blue is absolutely crucial.

I’m laser-focused on the issues that matter to Central and Southern Illinois, and it’s with your support that I can keep up the fight in Congress. I hope you’ll read my latest updates, and consider chipping in $3 to my re-election.

I was honored to speak at the Frontiers International MLK Jr. Memorial Breakfast and reflect on Dr. King’s lasting legacy. Now more than ever, his words serve as a guiding light in these difficult times for our nation and our democracy.
 
Republicans tried to pass a bill to let big corporations pay tipped workers less than $3/hour. That’s simply outrageous -- and I was proud to fight back.
 
I had a great time connecting with folks during the holiday season. The 13th Annual Light Up the Park at Chatham Community Park was a highlight!
 
Connecting with the community is how I best serve you in Congress. I was grateful to attend the Main Street Church of the Living God in Decatur.
 
My top priorities in this midterm election year are simple: protecting our communities from the Trump Administration, and lowering costs for working families.
