John, as you and I both well know, every day of this administration brings more chaos — more cruelty from ICE, more abuse of power, more reminders that Trump is testing the limits of our democracy and our humanity. It’s exhausting, infuriating, and can leave you wondering what, if anything, actually makes a difference right now.

Here’s one answer: WE do, when we come together and take action.

That’s why I want to personally invite you to a training led by my colleague Rep. Jayapal — Resistance Lab: Stand For Good, a special virtual organizing training happening Sunday, January 25th.

This is a space to help us all process what we’re living through and turn that grief and anger into meaningful action. You’ll hear directly from Congresswoman Jayapal, as well as Minnesota AG Keith Ellison. Together, we’ll learn concrete nonviolent resistance tactics and join regional breakout groups to connect with others who are ready to fight back and protect immigrant communities.

We’ll also be honoring Renee Good and all those brutalized by ICE by committing ourselves to action, not despair.

Trump and his allies want us isolated, afraid, and frozen. We don’t have to give them that power. We can show up for our neighbors, and for each other.
