In my free time, you can often find me running on one of our trails here in San Antonio.

Last year, I ran the 50th Marine Corps Marathon in our nation’s capital, and along the way, I reflected on how running a marathon is a lot like running for Congress!

Right now, our race for Congress in TX-35 is approaching its next major milestone: the primary election on March 3rd.

But getting to the finish line doesn’t happen overnight. It takes early mornings on the trail, preparation, and, above all, pushing through obstacles.

Together, we’ve pushed past every hurdle, including Republican redistricting, and here’s how I’ve seen them: as opportunities to come back stronger and close the margins even further.

So today, will you pitch in to join Team Lira so we are ready to take on and beat whoever becomes the Republican nominee in TX-35?
