Folks – my name is Michele Tafoya. 

 

I made a career as a sideline reporter for some of the biggest moments in sports history. I spent many Sunday evenings out on the gridiron. And I’ve interviewed all-time greats, including Peyton Manning, Patrick Mahomes, and many others who changed the game forever. 

 

Now I’m ready to make a big change myself.

 

With the disaster that failed leadership has brought us to in Minnesota, I just made it official: I’m running for U.S. Senate in my home state of Minnesota!

Before I go on, this will be one of the most consequential Senate races in the entire country – is there anything I can say to convince you to become a FOUNDING DONOR to my new campaign?

I never in my life thought I’d be sending you this email. 

 

I’m not a politician, I haven’t run for office before, and elected office wasn’t really an endgame I’d ever thought about. But what Tim Walz, the far-Left, and the career politicians have done to our state forced me to reconsider, including when they … 

 

– STORMED our churches to intimidate worshippers 

– SQUANDERED our tax dollars on fraudulent daycares

– DEMONIZED our brave cops and border agents

– ALLOWED men into women’s locker rooms 

– TAXED us into oblivion with zero tangible benefits 

– SUED the Trump Admin to allow boys in girls’ sports

– OPENED our borders to millions of illegal immigrants

– FORCED divisive propaganda into our classrooms

 

As a sports professional, patriot, Catholic, granddaughter of legal immigrants, wife, and mama bear, they’ve come after just about everything I care about most. So I had a choice to make: 1) let my state and country descend into ruin, or 2) take a leap of faith to fix it. 

 

Experts and consultants told me running for Senate in Minnesota was a fool’s errand. 

 

After all, we have a far-Left Governor and two far-Left Senators, Minnesota has been a blue state since Nixon, and it’s the ONLY STATE Ronald Reagan didn’t win. 

 

But blazing my own trail has never scared me. I made history on TV and won four Emmys for my sports coverage. I’ve taken on longer odds than this – and I beat them. 

 

So that’s why I just launched my Senate campaign. I’m taking on Tim Walz’s inner circle, the DC power brokers, and the political class who have sold us out for too long. 

 

Luckily, there are a lot more of us than there are of them! 

 

Now that I have made my decision, my path to winning this Senate race is in your hands. The ONLY way we can flip this seat is by out-organizing, out-working, and out-raising our opponents.

 

That last part is important – because if we can’t get our message out far and wide, this race is over and the far-Left wins.

And they’re scared because they know that if the American people have to choose between fraud, incompetence, special interests, and powerful party bosses… And honesty, common sense, and plain talk – the political class is in for a reckoning.
