John,
This legislative session is starting at a challenging time. Our country is a tinderbox, our relationships with allies are stressed to the limit, and regular people are facing prices that strain our wallets across the board.
In that context, I think our job as lawmakers is clear: keep Delawareans safe and thriving in spite of the challenges coming from Washington DC. In a moment when the federal government is growing more aggressive and less aligned with our core democratic values, we need leaders at every level who are committed to putting the people first.
I’m honored to serve you as a lawmaker this session, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
Many Delaware families are facing big challenges, especially when it comes to affordability. From health care to housing to the cost of living, so many of our neighbors are stretched too thin. We are taking concrete steps toward a Delaware that works for everyone.
In 2026, we cannot afford to lose ground — not on affordability, not on safety, and not on democracy. And we won’t. Thank you as always for your commitment to this community.
Best,
Krista Griffith
