important having selfless leaders like Nydia is to uplifting our

And over the years, she’s been an incredible role model and mentor to me.
She’s shown me what it means to stand up for your community and never back
down from tough fights.
As our Congresswoman, she led the charge on passing landmark small
business relief programs, championed affordable housing investments, and
led the fight for Puerto Rico’s recovery and immigrant protections —
foundational building blocks that gave every person in the 7th District
