We have news from the Supreme Court today coming out of their latest round of orders. This update affects our "Assault Weapon" Ban case Viramontes.

First, it looks like the court denied a whole ton of other cases. But interestingly, our case was again kept alive despite not receiving a firm “yea or nay.”

We know some gun owners may be frustrated by the constant “non-updates” from the court on Viramontes, but there is still room for hope.

In many instances where SCOTUS has no interest in taking a case, the court simply responds with a prompt “no” like it did today, but that hasn’t happened here. 

That’s why we’re encouraging all our supporters who want to see an AR-15 case gain national attention at the Supreme Court to support our Viramontes push.

The next word on Viramontes is likely to be during the January 26th round of orders, so we will update you again as we get closer to that date.

Obviously, we’ve now gone multiple weeks without earthshattering news, so no one knows what the 26th may bring. 

But we’re hopeful that we’ll finally break the dam and SCOTUS will weigh in on these unconstitutional gun bans!
