Most people see a headline like “HB805 Signed Into Law” and think, “Excellent—that’s encouraging.” But what often goes unseen is the enormous amount of strategic, prayer-filled, hands-on work required to turn that headline into reality.
That’s why our team recently filmed a short behind-the-scenes video—so you can hear directly from the people doing the work and see how your support makes it possible. And this timing matters. The short legislative session will be starting soon, and our team is already hard at work behind the scenes, preparing policy, meeting with lawmakers, and laying the groundwork for what’s ahead.
We’ve been able to accomplish significant things, including:
identifying problems that threaten children and families,
developing policy solutions,
drafting legislation,
educating lawmakers,
building coalitions,
mobilizing churches and voters,
and guiding bills through every stage until they become law.
Just last week, our team helped lead a successful pro-women’s sports rally that reached hundreds of thousands of people online, amplifying the truth about protecting women’s sports and advancing common-sense, pro-family policy—not just nationally, but here at home in North Carolina. That kind of impact doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because faithful supporters stand with us month after month.
As you’ll hear in the video, this work is both physical and spiritual. It is, in many ways, a battle between good and evil. And yet we carry it out with joy and conviction, confident that God has called us to advance what is good, true, and right.
