For 365 days we’ve seen unprecedented amounts of transphobic hostility and legislation from Republicans in control of the legislature, executive branch and Supreme Court.
This has led to trans youth losing the ability to play sports with their friends, life-saving care, and increased hostility and violence directed at trans people of all ages.
The world urges us to stop. But we go on anyway—because our community has no choice.
Amidst this difficult year, A4TE has been there no matter what. We defeated nearly 90% of all proposed anti-trans bills at the state level. We made our community’s voices heard in the halls of justice through litigation and amicus briefs. We organized record numbers of allies to take decisive action inside and outside of government. And so much more.
