![]() I want to tell you about the first bill I ever introduced in Congress. And I’ll be honest: it’s about an issue that doesn’t get as much attention as it once did — but it’s more important than ever. It’s called the Aquatic Biodiversity Preservation Act — and it would be a huge step forward in the fight against climate change.
Protecting our planet should not be a partisan issue. All of us want to live on a healthy, clean, livable planet — and leave one behind for their kids and grandkids. I won’t let the GOP’s indifference for our environment — and our children’s future — stop me. That’s why my first bill, the Aquatic Biodiversity Preservation Act, is a bold — and necessary — piece of legislation. Under my bill, scientists and researchers would finally be given the necessary resources to craft conservation strategies, preserve genetic diversity, and protect coastal natural resources from the immediate consequences of the climate crisis. Look, I know the climate crisis isn’t getting as much attention as it once did — and that’s a shame. But I’m determined to change that. Through this bill, and throughout this critical reelection campaign. If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
