Transform Your Art into Wildlife Conservation by Entering the Duck Stamp Contest!
Green-winged teal duck
Each year, Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife holds an art contest for Maine residents to select the artwork for the upcoming waterfowl stamp. There is no fee to enter, and all revenue from the sale of duck stamps are dedicated to the conservation and management of waterfowl in Maine. This year the Department invites you to submit colored drawings or paintings depicting the green-winged teal duck.
Important Dates and Deadlines
Entries can be submitted in person or by mail beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Monday, March 20, 2026.
Judging will take place on the first day of the State of Maine Sportsman’s Show - Friday, March 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the Augusta Civic Center where all submissions will be displayed.
