Hi Neighbor,

Our Participatory Budget Delegate Meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 28, 2026!

If you care about how one million dollars is going to be spent in our neighborhood, this is your moment.

Through Participatory Budgeting, residents help decide which community projects get built. I’m still looking for 30 budget delegates who are ready to step up and help move ideas from concept to reality. Tell a neighbor, tell a friend and let's get these District 18 projects funded! If you want your idea, or an idea you believe in, to be on the final ballot, we need you involved.

Join me at my office for an in-person Budget Delegate working meeting:

Date: Wednesday, January 21, 2026 January 28, 2026

Time: 7:00 PM 6:30 PM

Location: District Office | 778 Castle Hill Avenue

At this meeting, we will:

  • Review current project ideas
  • Work through what’s needed to make them ballot-ready
  • Walk through the timeline leading up to final ballot decisions in mid-February
  • Share details about our PB Expo on March 14 and voting week

During voting week (April 11-19) there will be 10 voting sites, and delegates will help coordinate ballot pickup and drop-off to ensure every vote is counted. Our neighbors should know what projects are going to be on the ballot, and it's up to Participatory Budget Delegates to make sure they do.

I hope to see you on January 28th. Who’s with me?

Hon. Amanda Farías
