It is now only one year since Trump was inaugurated to his second disastrous term, and already Alaska is in play. Ohio is in play. And Florida is similarly up for grabs—if we work for it. 

Everything is on the line here. Control of the House, the Senate, and reversing the gains that MAGA has made with Latino voters. 

The path to a 51-seat Democratic majority in the Senate depends on defeating an unelected and unpopular MAGA Senator appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis: Florida’s Ashley Moody.

Democrats need to fight to win everywhere. Nowhere is that more urgent or important than Florida right now, where a Senate seat and a handful of House seats hang in the balance. 

Failing to meet this moment would be an unmitigated disaster for the Democratic Party at a time when we need to be organized and united against MAGA fascism.

Winning Florida is the lynchpin to Democrats’ 2026 hopes to stop Trump’s madness.
