Commonsense Corner:

Tim is disgusted, fired up, and ready to call it like he sees it—and who could
blame him?

Last week, Congress threw billions of dollars at more pet projects that don’t
do a dadgum thing for hardworking Americans.

Here’s a snapshot <[link removed]>:

* $20 million for the Asia Foundation
* $22 million for the East-West Center
* $1 billion for Jordan to build a wall
* $205 million for the Human Rights and Democracy Fund
* $315 million for the National Endowment for Democracy
<[link removed]> (an organization
that tried to censor President Trump)
To sum it up, Congress spent billions on boondoggles. This is only the tip of
the iceberg when it comes to Washington’s out-of-control spending, and career
politicians in both parties are to blame.

We won’t sugarcoat it: Tim was pretty overcome seeing just how bad things have
gotten in America after all this garbage spending got the green light. But there
is hope. We can fix this mess if we start holding our representatives
accountable.

If you’re in East Tennessee, you can trust that Tim is doing everything in his
power to talk some sense into his fellow Republicans.

If you’re not, pick up the phone and call your members of Congress today. Tell
them to stop funding nonsense and start putting AMERICA FIRST.

Boots on the Ground Poll:

Are you disappointed in the congressional Republicans who voted in favor of a
spending bill that includes funding for wasteful programs and foreign
priorities?
