John --

In a moment I’m going to ask you to contribute towards our final fundraising deadline of the primary, but first let me tell you about one of the issues that is personal to me and sparked my career in public service.

I have two pre-existing conditions, rely on five daily prescription drugs, and I’ve served as an EMT. For me, health care is not an abstraction, it’s something I think about every single day.

For the last 10 years there’s been a national debate about health care. I was on the political frontlines in D.C. when Paul Ryan, Ted Cruz, and Donald Trump attempted to dismantle the Affordable Care Act. For them, health care was numbers on a spreadsheet. But for millions of Americans like me, health care is life or death.

I’m running for Congress because we need leaders with energy and experience to fight for high-quality, universal health care coverage and other issues. But I won’t be able to make the change I know is possible without your help:

Can you chip in $3 today to help towards our final fundraising deadline? We need to raise $25,000 this week to close out our get out the vote plan.

We have an opportunity to make bold, overdue reforms to our health care system. Fixes like lowering prescription drug costs, ending profiteering by big Pharma, and stopping surprise medical billings are all within reach.

WA-10 can play a big role in that fight, but we need leaders with the courage and conviction to get it done.

This is the homestretch. Help me raise the $25,000 to close this fundraising deadline strong and win this race.

Phil
