Friend,

Today, we celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who said:

“Faith is taking the first step even when you can't see the whole staircase.”

Dr. King used the power of words and action in the face of uncertainty to achieve seemingly impossible goals — and I try my best to honor his legacy in every area of my life, whether it’s serving as Nevada’s Attorney General or being a husband and a father.

He called on us to lead with justice, humanity, and unity and denounce the spread of fear, hatred, and injustice. At a time when our country is increasingly divided, I can hear his voice louder than ever.

The future of our nation depends on all of us doing our part to keep the dream alive — so thank you, friend, for joining me in this fight.
