As we honor Dr. Martin Luther King, we’re also reflecting on his life and legacy and how it shapes the work we do today.
Dr. King’s lifelong fight for justice dismantled legalized segregation, expanded voting rights for Black Americans, and moved our country closer to the promise of democracy. He laid the groundwork for the fights we face today.
In these challenging times, we’re fortunate to be able to look to Dr. King’s example and continue his life’s work by choosing democracy, empathy, and love over prejudice. From protecting every American’s right to vote to standing against racism and hate, we are called on each day to continue Dr. King’s march for justice.
We hope you join us in taking this day of reflection and service in Dr. King’s honor.
