Today, as we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we are reminded that his fight is far from over.

Dr. King dedicated his life to combating oppression and building a future free from discrimination and injustice.

His message of equality and justice calls to us now more than ever, as we witness the Trump administration creating chaos and fear daily for people across the country with its divisive agenda.

From attacks on immigrant families and communities of color, to policies that undermine voting rights and fuel hatred, this administration is turning its back on the very principles Dr. King gave his life to advance.

In the face of these challenges, we must reaffirm our commitment to standing against discrimination in all its forms. We must recommit to the shared fight for progress, equality, and justice — not just in memory of Dr. King, but for the future of our nation.

Through unity, determination, and hard work, we can be the leaders who carry forward his dream.
