Friends,

Thank you for being a part of this team and subscribing to our newsletter. As I travel around the state to talk with voters about the importance of the Secretary of State’s role in our elections, I am reminded that the strength of our democracy depends on people who stay engaged, informed, and committed to making our state work for everyone.

I am running for Secretary of State because I believe it is the single most important office in the state to ensure the long-term health of our democracy. This current system is broken, and for too long, Republican state leaders have worked against the interests of Ohioans by doing everything they can to diminish the power of your vote. My time in the Ohio statehouse, leading during the most critical fights for voters, has given me the experience necessary to be ready on day one to advocate for the full power of your vote and true election integrity. Most importantly, I will also run this office with the honesty that Ohio deserves to do everything in my power to restore trust and transparency back to our election process.

In this week’s newsletter you will find updates on what I have been working on, and where I am heading next. I am grateful for your support and look forward to seeing you over the next few months!
Week in review

Allison had the opportunity to meet with elections officials and Board of Elections members from all across Ohio at the Ohio Association of Election Officials’ annual conference in Columbus! She co-hosted a reception celebrating the tireless work our elections officials do year-round to ensure that our elections are fair, secure, and accessible for all Ohioans.

Allison also had the chance to connect with many voters at several meet-and-greets in Cleveland and Columbus this week, hearing directly from people about what matters most to them. These conversations are at the heart of this campaign. Last weekend Allison was honored to also participate in two candidate forums in Geauga and Huron Counties. These forums are an important part of our democratic process, allowing for meaningful discussions on how we can protect our elections and voting access in Ohio.
