Hey John, it’s Nida Allam running
for Congress in NC-04 and I’ve officially “made it”. An anti-Muslim
organization with its conspiracy-theorist figurehead have started
attacking me and my campaign.

My fight for a living wage, affordable healthcare, a great public
education, and a livable planet is setting off alarm bells because the
far-right know how popular these things are, and they are terrified by the
power of the people fighting for the future we deserve.

I know that hateful speech and rhetoric can have real-world consequences.
In 2015, my three friends were murdered in a hate crime in Chapel Hill,
targeted for their Muslim faith. Today, I’m running today to carry on
their legacies of service – regardless of what this Twitter troll has to
say about it.

compliment! Because aside from also having to deal with constant attacks
on his platform and identity like me, you know what else Zohran Mamdani
did? He won.
