John, it’s Trisha Calvarese (D). I'm writing this just before I hit the road again for another stop on our grassroots campaign to flip CO-04, retire Lauren Boebert, and bring strong leadership to this district.
Because here’s the truth: Boebert helped pass the so-called “Big, Beautiful Bill” into law — the biggest wealth transfer from the working class to billionaires in U.S. history. It guts healthcare access, slashes food assistance, defunds education, and threatens to close rural hospitals across Colorado.
And then? She walked away from the communities that will feel the pain the most. She skips town halls. She bails on key votes. She won’t meet with the people who she was elected to serve.
That’s not leadership. That’s cowardice. It's not how I was raised. And it's not how I intend to lead.
I'm running for Congress because I believe leadership means showing up, listening and standing up for the people you serve. That's why I've been on the road nonstop, meeting people where they are in every corner of this district – from Sterling to Highlands Ranch, from Fort Morgan to Prowers.
But here's the truth: Every conversation I have, trip, and event takes resources. Especially early on. These early investments are what let us build momentum, expand our reach and prove that our grassroots campaign can take on Boebert's billionaire-funded machine.
That's why I'm asking: Will you pitch in $25 $15 or whatever you can today to help me win this seat and flip the House for Democrats?
