Hello,
Hospitals are the only sites of care providing 24/7 access to critical care. Karen Spurrier, a nurse from our community, shared her perspective on why around-the-clock care is critical. Noting that, with certain conditions, the difference between being stable and needing emergency specialized care could be a matter of minutes.
Impending cuts to care threaten this essential 24/7 care, putting hospitals at increased risk of closure and forcing many to consider limiting critical emergency services, such as those Karen mentions. Tell Congress to say VOTE NO against further cuts to care. Send a letter to you members of Congress in less than two minutes.
