After yesterday’s unforeseen circumstances, we’re so relieved to say the dogs are finally on the road.
The van pulled out of Texas early this morning, and our friends at BARK Rescue are making the long, icy drive to Iowa right now.
All 30 pups are safe, cozy, and officially en route to their foster families who are waiting with open arms.
This is the biggest leg of our transport yet, and every single mile matters.
Even though the van’s moving, these dogs still need us.
Here’s how you can help today:
1.) Help fund the trip: With 10 extra seats filled, our fuel and transport costs have increased. Your support ensures no dog is left behind on the road.
2.) Send a Care Package: Make sure they arrive to a warm blanket, a toy, 20 life-saving meals, and treats.
