“Trump failed to overturn the 2020 election, but how about 2026?”

– The Hill (via DGA)

Team, since Donald Trump returned to office, he and his Republican allies have been working overtime to rig our elections and attack voting rights in a desperate attempt to hold onto their MAGA majority.

FIRST:

Trump signed a SWEEPING Executive Order that attacks vote-by-mail and jeopardizes voting rights for MILLIONS. His GOP House majority also passed major voter suppression legislation that could disenfranchise over 70 million people.

THEN:

Democratic governors nationwide sounded the alarm about these blatant assaults on our democracy. We at the DGA – along with other top Democrats – SUED Trump and his administration to stop it.

NOW:

In a win for voting rights, a federal judge ruled last week that certain provisions of Trump’s Executive Order attacking mail-in voting are unconstitutional. But with the midterms just months away, Trump is not giving up his attacks on mail-in voting – even though 1 in 3 voters mailed in their ballot in the 2024 election!

Team, there’s still time to stop Republicans’ attacks on our voting rights. Ahead of the midterm elections this year, we have to show widespread support for mail-in voting. That’s why we’re asking for 15,000 signatures before midnight to show that Americans everywhere OPPOSE the GOP’s attacks on voting rights!
