The Center for Reproductive Rights has released an analysis on how the Trump administration has stripped away abortion rights in 2025.
Here is a look at some of their findings:

Trump withdrew federal guidance that directed hospitals to perform life-saving abortions in emergency rooms.

Worked to weaken data privacy rules protecting abortion patients and pardoned violent anti-abortion protestors.

Stated that the FACE Act, which makes it a crime to use force, threats, and physical obstruction to stop someone from getting or providing reproductive care, will no longer be enforced to protect abortion clinics.

Implemented a new policy to prevent veterans on VA health insurance from having abortions even in cases of rape, incest, or severe health risks.

Implemented a backdoor abortion ban by stripping away Medicaid funding for clinics.
This is why it’s so critical that we continue the fight to protect abortion care in Virginia. Beyond red states implementing wild anti-reproductive rights laws, Trump and his administration are chipping away at our rights on the daily.
