Working to Win in SD9

Republicans across Tarrant County must be focused on the special election for Senate District 9 on January 31st! Early voting takes place January 21 - 27. We are in the decisive final stretch so it's time to roll up our sleeves and do the work to ensure Leigh Wambsganss is our next state senator! Heading into the election, the TCGOP is sponsoring three Get Out The Vote events on Jan. 20th, 23rd, and 30th. Join with more than 50 people already signed up at:

Leigh is working every minute of every day - she will be speaking at the Keller Republican Club on January 21st, has virtual town halls with Senator Cruz and Congressman Gill, multiple media interviews, and she and her team are working around the clock to Keep Tarrant Red.

We have already learned that Beto O’Rourke is throwing endless resources at this January Senate Race for what he is calling a “Pilot Program” to flip SD9 then use that “Pilot Program” to take Texas in November. We won't let that happen!

As Chairman Davis encouraged us this week, write out a list of 10 friends and text, email, and call them as many times as it takes to make sure they vote for Leigh.

This January 31st runoff comes down to one thing: all of us working together. Every vote, every door knocked, every share - it's going to take EVERY ONE of us to secure this win and keep SD9 conservative. Let's do this!

Keller and ICE:

Committed to Safety

The City of Keller is leading the way in community safety through its proactive partnership with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). As the first city in the county to formally join the 287(g) program, Keller has set a high standard for local-federal cooperation in 2026.

City leadership (which includes precinct chairs and Councilmembers Karen Brennan and Greg Will) now utilizes federal resources to screen individuals in custody. This initiative ensures that criminal elements—those who have already violated the law and are in the country illegally—are identified and slated for deportation rather than being released back into North Texas neighborhoods.

The program's success lies in its focus on public safety and the rule of law. By streamlining the transfer of high-priority offenders to ICE, Keller is effectively reducing the potential for repeat offenses and keeping Tarrant County families secure. This commitment to security reflects a positive, "safety-first" approach that residents have widely applauded as a model for the region.

If your city leadership has not formally joined the 287(g) program, have you asked them why not?

Thou Shalt Not Fade Away

Ten Commandments Monument Dedicated

Yesterday marked a historic and uplifting milestone for Tarrant County as the Ten Commandments monument was officially unveiled on the lawn of the 1895 Courthouse. The ceremony was a beautiful celebration of the moral and legal foundations that have shaped our American justice system.

The solid marble monument, a replica of the one at the Texas State Capitol, stands as a dignified tribute to our shared heritage. County Judge Tim O'Hare spoke eloquently about the importance of religious liberty and the historical rule of law that these commandments represent.

One of the most commendable aspects of this project is that it was entirely privately funded. Thanks to the American History & Heritage Foundation, this addition to downtown Fort Worth comes at no cost to taxpayers, showcasing a successful partnership between the community and local government.

The event was filled with pride and reverence, offering a peaceful space for reflection in the heart of the city. It is a bold, positive step in honoring the traditions that define Tarrant County and the Lone Star State. Chairman Davis and several area leaders and precinct chairs attended the program, representing the TCGOP and celebrating this historic event.
