Namaste, Tashi Delek, and Hello!

Adhikaar turns 15 years TODAY!
[link removed]

It is a huge milestone for all of us and we wanted to share this with you. Since our inception in 2005, we’ve been building and growing the movement for social justice among the Nepali-speaking community in New York City and now even nationally.

We have grown tremendously, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to the service and leadership of our members, who are the movers and shakers in fighting for our collective rights.
Today, we ask you to join us and donate for our 15-year milestone! ([link removed])
Through your generosity and support, we continue to serve, protect, and organize our community during the COVID-19 pandemic. These tumultuous last five months required additional support to already existing urgent needs. We had to address new challenges including unemployment, health/health insurance needs, food insecurity, and reopening.

Here’s a brief snapshot of our accomplishments since March, which wouldn't have been possible without your generous support.

Consider becoming a monthly sustainer at Adhikaar. You can continue supporting our vision and work as we continue to build community power. As we now shift our focus to the new normal, we still need your support to continue ([link removed]) our work.
We will continue to see its impact beyond reopening. We remain committed to ensuring our members are prepared to fight for a new future in this next phase of Adhikaar’s history.

In creating a more equitable and just future, there is a role for all of us. Thank you for your continuous support in helping us ensure that the Nepali-speaking community is a stronger one.

In Solidarity,
Pabitra Khati Benjamin
Executive Director
