It’s Day 362 of President Trump’s second term. No one has lost their Social Security, Medicare, or veterans’ benefits in spite of constant media and leftist lies.

Father-In-Law Speaks

Renee Good’s former father-in-law, Tim Macklin, Sr., was interviewed this morning on Fox & Friends. He praised his daughter-in-law as a wonderful person. He also refused to criticize the federal immigration police officer who had to shoot her when she drove her SUV toward him. Macklin said Good’s death was the result of many “bad choices.”

When asked for his response to the scenes of nightly rioting in Minneapolis, Macklin urged calm. He quoted Psalm 46, “Be still, and know that I am God,” and added that if people spent more time in prayer, we would all be better off.

Macklin made similar remarks during an interview with CNN earlier this week when he quoted 2 Chronicles, urging people to pray and turn from their wicked ways so God will heal our land. That wasn’t the message CNN was expecting!

The heart of any follower of Jesus Christ would beat faster seeing this man using his “15 seconds of fame” to urge people to turn back to God.

I don’t want, in any way, to sabotage those feelings. But I feel compelled to point out that the very thing he said we need to do, and what we all believe we need to do, is one of the very things that the Left completely rejects.

The Marxist Left that dominates the faculties of our universities, controls Hollywood, owns the teachers’ unions, and increasingly dominates the Democrat Party, completely rejects the idea that there is a Creator God. They become completely unhinged at the suggestion that God should have anything to do with the U.S. government or public policy.

In fact, when Christians like Good’s father-in-law say in the aftermath of tragic events that we are praying for the victims, Democrats attack us and mock the very idea of prayer having any impact. That’s exactly what Governor Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey did after the attack on a Catholic school in Minneapolis by a demon-possessed shooter.

I guarantee you that millions of leftists watching Macklin’s CNN interview said to themselves, “What an idiot! He’s just one of those MAGA guys.” And therein lies why our country has irreconcilable differences.

During the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln noted of the Northern and Southern combatants, “Both read the same Bible and pray to the same God, and each invokes His aid against the other. . . The prayers of both could not be answered.”

But everyone at that time believed God was the answer to what they hoped for. That faith is completely rejected by the radical, secular Marxist Left.

A leftist president can project the rainbow colors of the LGBTQ movement on the White House, and we’re all expected to bow down. But if a Christian president projected a rainbow on the White House and said it was to remind people of God’s promise not to destroy the world with water, the Left would go insane.

What They’re Defending

In the wake of Renee Good’s death, the rioting in Minneapolis intensified after news broke that a federal immigration police officer shot a known criminal illegal alien.

The fact that the officer fired in self-defense after being attacked by that man and two other illegal aliens and beaten with a shovel was irrelevant to radical leftists. They have their narrative—immigration police are Nazis and must be resisted.

They don’t care about the federal immigration police officer who could have been beaten to death. They only care about keeping these thugs in our country.

Dox The Demonstrators

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is encouraging rioters and insurrectionists to identify federal immigration police so they can be prosecuted later. There is also the very real possibility that these agents and their families will be harmed by radical leftists who now know their identities.

Well, Border Czar Tom Homan said yesterday that the government is identifying the people who are assaulting officers, engaging in violence, and attacking property. Homan added that the government is creating a database of these violent leftists in order to arrest them and “make them famous.”

During Wednesday night’s rioting in Minneapolis, a mob attacked and vandalized several government vehicles. They managed to break into one vehicle and stole FBI body armor and weapons.

Last night, FBI Director Kash Patel announced that they arrested one of the leaders of that mob. Patel identified the suspect as “a member of the Latin Kings gang with a known violent criminal history.” Patel noted the FBI is pursuing other subjects and said, “There will be more arrests.”

Patel also announced that a radical leftist who participated in the mob assault on a federal courthouse in Minneapolis last week had been identified and arrested.

During the 2020 riots, the first Trump administration gathered videos of radical leftists desecrating monuments to our heroes. Later, federal agents showed up with warrants, arrested the leftists, and prosecuted them.

Fighting For Normalcy

Kudos to Education Secretary Linda McMahon! The Department of Education announced this week that it is investigating 18 educational institutions in 10 states for violating Title IX and discriminating against women.

These institutions include school districts, colleges, and state education departments that have transgender policies allowing student athletes to join teams based on “gender identity” instead of biological sex.

In its announcement of the investigations, the Education Department declared, “These policies jeopardize both the safety and the equal opportunities of women in educational programs and activities.”

A spokesperson for the Trump Education Department said:

“In the same week that the Supreme Court hears oral arguments on the future of Title IX, [the Office of Civil Rights] is aggressively pursuing allegations of discrimination against women and girls by entities which reportedly allow males to compete in women’s sports. Time and again, the Trump Administration has made its position clear: violations of women’s rights, dignity, and fairness are unacceptable.”

Secretary McMahon was at the Supreme Court during Tuesday’s hearing on state laws that prevent boys from cheating in girls’ sports. Speaking to supporters of these laws, McMahon said:

“Americans have had enough of women and girls losing opportunities and being subjected to the indignity and danger of unfair competition due to the Left’s warped application of federal law. 

“That is why Americans overwhelmingly elected President Trump to end this madness and restore common sense by returning sanity to the sexes.” 

Virginia Blues

The commonwealth of Virginia went deep Blue after last year’s elections. Far-left Democrats were elected up and down the ticket statewide. They have total control of the government in Richmond.

The General Assembly began a new session under the new regime this week, and Democrats made it absolutely clear what their priorities are. They immediately rammed through four constitutional amendments on the following subjects:

• A radical gerrymandering plan that is likely to transform the state’s delegation in the House of Representatives from 6-5 Democrat to 10-1 Democrat.

• Automatic restoration of voting rights for convicted felons.

• Enshrining same-sex marriage in the state’s constitution.

• Enshrining abortion on demand in the state’s constitution.

Silencing Republican voices, voting rights for criminals, gay marriage, and abortion on demand. That’s what happens when Democrats seize power.

Sanctity Of Life Sunday

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan called on Americans to “give thanks for the gift of life, and to reaffirm our commitment to the dignity of every human being and the sanctity of each human life.” Many churches will do just that this Sunday.

While some are distorting the scriptures to promote abortion, God’s word is clear. In Deuteronomy 30:19, He declared, “I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.”

I hope you will hear something from the pulpit this Sunday about the importance of the sanctity of life. If not, I hope you and others will ask your pastor why the subject didn’t come up.

If your pastor says he doesn’t address political issues from the pulpit, politely ask him if he would have been silent about slavery in the 1850s. Remind him that the sanctity of life isn’t a political issue – it’s a moral issue.
