THE NEW YORK TIMES:
KENNEDY SCALES BACK THE NUMBER OF VACCINES RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN
John,
You may have heard that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has pushed the Department of Health and Human Services to limit the recommended number of vaccines from 18 to 11 for children after birth. This goes against every recommendation pediatric experts have advised for decades.
These are vaccines that protect against a number of dangerous conditions, including rotavirus, COVID-19, influenza, hepatitis A, and hepatitis B. Many of these diseases can be managed in healthy adults. For infants and young children, whose immune systems are still developing, they can be life-threatening.
For generations, these illnesses devastated families and communities. They were defeated because scientists and doctors developed vaccines against them, one of the greatest public health breakthroughs in history. We vaccinate our children to protect them, to protect others, and to ensure that diseases we once defeated remain in the past.
Now, RFK Jr. and Donald Trump are encouraging parents to trust conspiracy theories over doctors and decades of scientific success. The result is predictable and dangerous. Children are less safe, and diseases like Measles are wreaking havoc in our communities once again.
Since day one, Chris has refused to sit back and be silent about RFK Jr.'s attacks on public health. He knows RFK has no business running the HHS, but he needs your voice to stand loud and clear with him. Add your name next to Chris's if you agree: RFK Jr. should resign NOW >> [link removed]
