Friend,
What happened last week in Minneapolis is an outrage. Renee Nicole Good was a mother of three kids, and she deserved safety and dignity, as every person does in this country. My heart is with her loved ones and with the entire Twin Cities community.
While unsurprising, it was deeply irresponsible for Secretary Noem to make claims and mischaracterize the events before any investigation was completed or facts were known. This conduct underscores the urgent need for an immediate investigation and full transparency for the American people.
Everyone in this country has a fundamental right to safety. As a member of the Homeland Security Committee, I will work tirelessly to conduct rigorous oversight, demand answers, and ensure accountability for what happened today.
But I also know this: oversight alone is not enough. If we want accountability, if we want a government that tells the truth, and if we want leadership that takes public safety seriously, we need a House majority that will use its power responsibly. We need to take back the House.
If you believe in oversight, accountability, and the fundamental right to safety, I’m asking you to support this campaign. This is a frontline swing seat, and winning here is key to flipping the House.
If you’re able, will you chip in today and help us build the majority that working families deserve?

Thank you for standing with me in this work.
In solidarity,
