What can Democrats and anti-MAGA supporters do in response to Trump’s increasingly bold and reckless rhetoric?
The answer isn’t simple, but here is one thing that must happen if we have any chance of defeating this evil: we have to work right now to ensure that Dems win a victory so huge and widespread that the results are undeniable even by MAGA’s standards.
Trump is already attempting to lay the groundwork for the opposite scenario: extreme impromptu gerrymandering to redraw and rig dozens of red state districts that Democrats currently hold.
His gambit is paying off so far, but Democrats are finally starting to fight back. Colorado Draws The Line is leading the effort in blue state Colorado to redraw our evenly split 4-4 maps to eliminate 3-4 GOP seats.
However, Donald Trump loves the smell of napalm in the morning. He LIVES for a nasty, race-to-the-bottom fight. We can’t beat him by being sneaky or by cheating. We can only prevail by doing this the right way, and that means building a groundswell of grassroots support that will be impossible for MAGA to defeat.
