Nature news for you.
Wildlife Online

John,

Wildlife needs your passion and action more than ever. Last week, the White House slashed environmental protections provided by the National Environmental Policy Act, silencing the public and putting the health and safety of wildlife and communities at risk.

For half a century, the National Environmental Policy Act has given Americans a voice in projects that would impact their communities and wildlife. The White House rollback changes virtually every aspect of how the National Environmental Policy Act is implemented.

Please tell Congress to fight these reckless rollbacks.

We end this week on a more positive note, with the passing of the bipartisan Great American Outdoors Act—legislation that will permanently fund the Land and Water Conservation Fund and provides money for deferred maintenance projects at national parks, forests, wildlife refuges, and other public lands.

Thank you for joining us in this fight for wildlife.

Sincerely,

Melissa Samet
