Katie Hobbs is being investigated for a pay-for-play scheme, as we know.
What we DIDN'T know was how bad it was.
So, Katie Hobbs was doing fancy steak dinners with lobbyists, getting paid off to let them hike housing prices on the poorest Arizonans.
That's pretty slimy in and of itself.
How about the rest of Arizonans?
We in the state legislature tried to make it illegal for localities to levy a grocery tax. These taxes are regressive and hurt the poorest families in Arizona.
And, Katie Hobbs vetoed our bill.
While she gets paid off by lobbyists and dines on steak, Katie Hobbs intentionally made it MORE expensive for Arizonans to buy food and housing.
This is monster-level behavior. It's almost cartoonish, it's unreal.
You know why I prefer to raise money from the people of Arizona? Because it makes me beholden to YOU, not to lobbyists.
Katie Hobbs is corrupt, and YOU are paying at the grocery store and in housing costs for HER corruption.
I will keep trying to lower costs by reducing government taxes on groceries. It's the right thing to do, to help Arizonans.
