I'm going to be direct with you.

Our Mid-January Deadline is tonight at midnight, and we're not where we need to be.

I spent eight years in the Army. I learned that you don't sugarcoat reality, you face it head-on and you fight through it. That's what I'm asking you to do with me right now.

We're behind. And the clock is running out.

Here's what this means:

Every dollar we raise tonight determines how many voters we can reach tomorrow. It determines whether we can respond when we're attacked. It determines whether we have the resources to compete in every corner of this state.

Michigan has been struggling. Our families are paying more for everything. Our businesses are being crushed by regulations. Our kids are falling behind in schools that should be world-class.

We can fix this. But only if we have the resources to fight.

I'm not a career politician. I don't have party bosses writing me checks. I have people like you, Michiganders who are tired of watching our state decline.

Six hours. That's all we have.

Let's make them count.
