John, this was never a coincidence.
Once again, the White House has called me out for doing my job and for saying the truth.
It's now the **second** time Trump has singled me out for supposedly “vilifying ICE,” when all I’ve done is speak honestly about what I’ve seen and heard from the people I represent:
1️⃣ICE is hurting our communities. 2️⃣ They're terrorizing people through racial profiling, with little to no regard for the damage they're causing. 3️⃣ And even Kristi Noem is now trying to block Members of Congress from providing effective oversight at ICE facilities.
As a former naval officer, I can tell you service does not mean unchecked power, and it does not mean turning a blind eye when policies harm innocent people because Donald Trump demands it.
The White House is not only doubling down on their efforts to attack me but is also testing whether our district will stand up or be intimidated.
Republicans are looking for openings across the country, trying to flip seats like mine so they can push even more extreme policies with less resistance.
I’m running to stop that from happening, but I need your help to do it.
