Mid-month goals are important for a number of reasons, and here’s the best analogy I could come up with to illustrate this point:

Think of a pace car, John, where the duration of the month is the track, and midnight on January 31st is the finish line.

Not bad, right?

And at the risk of exhausting this analogy further, the pace car — or in our case today’s mid-month fundraising benchmark — sets the tone for the rest of the race.

And right now, we’re lagging behind.

After our impressive fundraising haul to end 2025, everyone is watching to see if we can replicate that success, so there really couldn’t be a worse time to fall behind.
