DES adds additional awards for spoken language interpreter services contract
DES added two contractors to contract 06821, spoken language interpreter services - IPI, OPI, and VRI (CBA). To meet purchasers’ needs, DES is leveraging the original solicitation to make additional awards to qualified bidders who were not initially awarded a contract. The additional contracts took effect Nov. 24 and Dec. 9.
The new contractors added are:
- Baystate Interpreters, Inc.
- Jrivera Associates, Inc.

Price change for spoken language interpreter services contract
DES posted updated pricing for contract 18222, spoken language interpreter services - IPI, OPI, and VRI (Non-CBA). The prices increased 7%.

Price change for water treatment contract
DES will post updated pricing for contract 25623, water treatment products, effective Feb. 1. The prices increased 6.6% due to an economic price adjustment.

DES starts solicitation to replace lamp supplies contract
DES is starting a solicitation for contract 13825, lamps, ballasts, retrofit kits, and lamp recycling containers, to succeed statewide contract 03020, which expires Jan. 31, 2027.
We will be hosting a meeting for interested purchasers soon. Attendees will learn more about the contract, the solicitation process, and the ways to participate.

New statewide contract available for paint and paint supplies
DES has a new statewide contract 07925, paint and paint supplies. This is a new contract and features green products.

Price updated for food service contract
DES posted updated pricing for contract 16722, food service disposables. Prices increased for many of the items on contract due to manufacturing and operating costs.

DES makes change to armored car and courier services contract
DES and Always Ready LLC have agreed to a mutual termination on contract 26423, armored car and courier services. Always Ready LLC will no longer provide services through this contract to eligible purchasers.

DES has a new statewide contract 06825, medical diagnostic testing services. This contract succeeds contract 02119, which expired Jan. 10.
This contract features two statewide contractors:

- Interpath Laboratory, Inc.

Sourcewell has awarded eight contractors that can considered for participating addenda on Washington’s contract. Please review the list of available contractors and send us with your recommendations on which contractors we should award in Washington.
