Why we are 350: Scientists overwhelmingly agree that 350ppm CO2 is the upper limit to sustain life as humans have lived it. For more than 800,000 years atmospheric CO2 varied between roughly 180 to 280ppm ([link removed]) .

Our Earth passed 350ppm CO2 during 1988!
Mauna Loa Observatory ([link removed]) - We are now approaching 430ppm!
On many days we're up 1.6 to 2.5ppm from last year

Congressional District 1 Meet & Greet with the Candidates Monday, January 19 • 5–7 PM Century Pub, Downtown Kenosha

Put on by Hands Off Kenosha

Join us for an informal, drop-in meet and greet with the candidates running for Wisconsin’s Congressional District 1. This is not a formal forum—just a relaxed opportunity to introduce yourself, say hello, and get to know the people who want to represent you in CD-1.

All declared CD1 candidates have RSVP’d yes to attend, besides incumbent Bryan Steil.

Come by, grab a drink, and meet the folks on the ballot in a friendly, community-focused setting. No speeches, no panels—just real conversations.

We will have a more formal round table in the future with the candidates so stay tuned! We hope to see you there!

A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

Join Abby Martin for the Milwaukee premiere of her new documentary film on the environmental impact of the US military!

Earth’s Greatest Enemy is the second documentary from journalist Abby Martin that uncovers a shocking blind spot in the climate conversation: the U.S. military.

Exempt from international climate agreements and rarely scrutinized in mainstream reporting, the Pentagon is revealed here as the world’s single largest institutional polluter—spewing carbon, contaminating water, and scarring landscapes across the globe. Combining investigative journalism, striking visuals, and stories from impacted communities, the film challenges audiences to rethink the hidden costs of a global military empire and its planetary consequences. Provocative, urgent, and eye-opening, this is a documentary that will change how you see both the military and environmentalism.

Featuring in-person Q&A with Abby Martin following the film.

Gather with us at noon every Saturday to make our voices heard.

This is the North Shore extension of the weekly gathering at 76th & North Ave. in Wauwatosa.

Together, we stand for justice, equality, and change, reminding those in power that we will not be silent. Bring your energy, your signs, and your friends. Let’s raise our voices, week after week, until real change is won.

Dress for the weather. Bring your cellphone, water, hats & gloves, umbrella, sunscreen, and a chair if you need one. Bring a sign (use bold, large lettering, so your sign can be read by moving traffic, 2-5 words) or borrow one from our community.

Parking is available in the Bayshore parking lot.

A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
