Dear Democrats,

If you’ve been paying attention, you’ve seen the hostile and violent tactics used by Trump’s military police in communities across the country, and even right here in New Mexico. No doubt about it, the racist and unconstitutional tactics employed by ICE have only made neighborhoods more dangerous for everyone. 

We’ve seen the masked cowards of ICE beat and abduct Americans and unconstitutionally invade their homes, not to mention the horrific death of Renee Nicole Good. Through it all, Kristi Noem has mindlessly allowed ICE to terrorize our country, completely devoid of any accountability, no matter how egregiously they abuse their power. 

Thankfully in New Mexico, we have leaders who stand up for the safety of our communities. 

All three of New Mexico’s Democratic US Representatives recently made headlines by leading efforts to impeach Kristi Noem. New Mexico Democrats could not be more proud of Representatives Teresa Leger Ferndandez, Melanie Stansbury and Gabe Vasquez for signing on to the effort to impeach Kristi Noem. 

Who we elect matters, and Teresa, Melanie and Gabe deserve our thanks. Be sure to take to social media to uplift and support the leadership of these NM Democrats and amplify their hard work. Their courageous work in Congress standing up to hate has never been more important for the safety of our communities right here in New Mexico and across the rest of the country. 

As Democrats, we have the responsibility to continue working year-round to make sure we support their leadership and keep New Mexico blue, year after year.
