Dear Friend,
Over the past week, federal law enforcement has enacted violence across Minneapolis in a campaign of terror targeting Black and Brown communities, with fatal consequences.
Following the murder of Renée Nicole Good by an ICE agent and Border Patrol agents deploying chemical weapons on students, parents, and bystanders during school dismissal, it has never been more imperative that ICE must be removed from our communities, our schools, and abolished altogether.
Join us on Instagram Live today at 3 pm ET for a discussion with Erin Cloud, director of our Justice Project, and Tyler Whittenberg, deputy director of our Opportunity to Learn program, about current threats to our right to protest and strategies for keeping immigrant students safe during federal occupation.
This is a conversation you won’t want to miss.

In the face of oppression and state violence, we must assert our rights loudly, use our collective voice to speak out, and build power to keep our communities safe. We hope you’ll tune in for this timely conversation and leave with the tools you need to hit the streets and organize your neighbors to keep immigrant students safe.
In Solidarity,
Advancement Project
