Policy matters, but what moves people is why we care. That’s why this year we’ve partnered with Fearless Communicators, a team of public speaking coaches dedicated to social impact. Their experience includes working with presidential candidates, UN diplomats and CNN Heroes, and they will help you develop and share your story with confidence. If you would like to speak with legislators on Hill Day, attending this training is mandatory.
Through this free, virtual storytelling training, you will learn how to:
- Structure your story for clarity and impact
- Share your story with confidence, warmth and authenticity
- Speak comfortably, even without notes
- Build connection and shared purpose by hearing others’ stories
These skills will support your participation in Hill Day and strengthen your everyday advocacy and communication work. Once you register for Hill Day, you will receive the link to access the storytelling training.
