Lauren Boebert has been pushing a new conspiracy theory that House Speaker Hakeem Jeffries is a "reptilian." 

This is related to a conspiracy pushed by Holocaust denier David Icke who postulates that most Jews, and many people in positions of power across the world, secretly belong to a race of reptilians, with a sinister plan to eradicate humanity. 

It’s funny to laugh at Boebert’s antics because she’s a joke, she launched her reelection campaign with a  promise to get to the bottom of extraterrestrials now it's lizardmen. However she has a dark reason for pushing this one…

Congressman Clay Higgins is a close ally of Boebert. In 2023 when an activist asked Boebert an unfriendly question at a presser with Higgins, he went on the attack manhandling the protestor and dragging him away.

The reason why Boebert is spreading this theory is because it dehumanizes her political opponents and primes her base to accept and participate in violence committed against them. 

It’s the same reason why she claims that Trans people are behind a wave of mass shootings or that Ilhan Omar is a jihadi. 

Democrats, LGBTQ, Muslims, and Jews all groups she is targeting she wants violence committed against them. She is pushing for it at a policy level and she is priming her base for it. 

Lauren Boebert is in Congress because of a mere 546 votes. In 2024 when labor leader Trisha Calvarese went head to head with her, Trisha had the best performance a Democrat has ever had in this district while Boebert underperformed Trump in every county. Now Trisha is back to finish the job.
