I know it’s late, but I needed to reach out directly with this update:

My finance team just told me that we’re $17,612 short of our $75,000 mid-month goal – and time is running out to close the gap before our deadline tomorrow.

Recent polls show me ahead of my Republican opponent, so we need to turbocharge our efforts and keep surging ahead now – not days or weeks from now. If we don’t, we will jeopardize our chances of flipping this seat.

So please, will you chip in $5 or whatever you can spare to help me reach this goal, fight back against millions in special-interest money, and win in Ohio? We’ll need a surge of grassroots support tonight to get back on track, and it’d mean a lot to me personally if you can chip in.
