Disability Caucus Lobby Day

📍 Richmond, VA
The Virginia Young Democrats Disability Caucus will also be hosting a Lobby Day! During this Lobby Day, we will be supporting policies that improve disability rights across the Commonwealth, including Braille Labeling Incentives for Businesses in the Commonwealth (SB 96) and Prohibiting Disability-Based Jury Discrimination (HB 671).

SENATE SPECIAL ELECTION IN SOUTH ARLINGTON
|
|
|
|
Senator Adam Ebbin recently announced that he will be stepping down in February to join the Spanberger administration, and yesterday Delegate Elizabeth Bennett-Parker won the firehouse primary to replace him in SD-39. This district represents parts of Arlington (Crystal City, Pentagon City and Aurora Hills). The general election will take place on February 10th. You can learn more about her campaign here. Stay tuned on ways to keep the district blue!
