I’m the proud daughter of immigrants who fled Iran’s authoritarian regime of fear and repression. Arizona raised me, and I’m ready to continue the fight for everyone who calls it home.

I carried that fight from the United Nations, where I helped to deliver the historic Paris Climate Agreement, to Phoenix, where, as the Vice Mayor, I expanded housing options, invested in clean, affordable transportation, and created good-paying jobs.

And last year, I was sworn in as the youngest woman in the 119th Congress — part of a new generation of leadership.

I’ve held the powerful to account — demanding answers for Epstein survivors, and exposing corruption and insider trading at the highest levels. When Trump defied the Supreme Court, I went to El Salvador to defend our Constitution.

As Trump pours billions into ICE, I see the fear it creates in our neighborhoods. That’s why we trained thousands of our neighbors to know their rights, and worked with community leaders to keep families safe.

I’ve gone inside detention centers to demand humane treatment. And I’ve fought for my constituents — like Yari, a woman battling leukemia — demanding that ICE provide the care she desperately needs.

Because no one should be left to suffer in U.S. custody.

I’m leading the fight against Big Oil’s greed — so families pay less for their utilities. I don’t take corporate PAC money. I don’t own or trade stocks.
