Friend, 

On Sunday our campaign closed the books on our first public fundraising deadline of election year, and because of you, we hit our goal for the period. I could not be more grateful and humbled by the outpouring of support.

Today I am proud to say: We are the first statewide campaign in New York history to qualify for public matching funds. While my opponent relies on corporate PAC money and special interests groups, we're powered entirely by the people — everyday New Yorkers trying to make a difference.

So thank you for making that possible. Thank you, for making sure that we hit our goal and have the resources to run the most effective campaign possible. For making it possible to advocate for affordable housing and accessible healthcare. For believing in a better New York. 

This fundraising success reflects the momentum behind the movement we are building. Together, we can take on a broken status quo. We’ve still got a long way to go until this race is over. This campaign is going to be a marathon, not a sprint. But one thing I know: I’m beyond grateful to have you on this journey with me.
