Hey there, I wanted to follow up on yesterday’s message from my team.

For months, Kansas Republicans promised to make Donald Trump’s gerrymander a Day One priority when the legislature convened on January 12th. The Kansas House Speaker even sent out a press release with the title “Countdown to January 12th” — and my name was at the very top.

Well it’s January 14th… and I’m still standing.

But this fight? It’s far from over.

In 2021, Kansas Republicans held closed-door meeting after closed-door meeting — just like they’re doing today. And when they finally stepped out of the shadows?

They had the votes to re-draw Kansas’ maps.

Here’s the good news though: We know their blueprint. And we’ve beaten it before. We just have to do it again.

Listen, Kansas Republicans won’t just hand us a victory. They won’t say “Congratulations Sharice!” and give up their partisan power grab. We need to win — and I can’t do it without you. So I’m personally asking: Will you rush a donation to keep our team in fighting shape?
